Cancellations, Refunds and Transfer Fees

Should you need to cancel or transfer your Training Live + Online certificate registration, you must do so in writing via email to Training_Registration@goeshow.com. (include 'Training Live + Online 2025' in the subject line.)

  • Should you need to transfer to another course or course date, you may do so once (a minimum of 10 business days prior to the course start date) for a transfer fee of $50.
  • You may transfer your registration to another person (send a substitution) up to 72 business hours prior to a course start date.
  • For cancellations received at least 21 days before the course start date, you may receive a letter of credit for a future online course (valid for one year) or a refund. Refunds are subject to a $100 processing fee and the balance of your payment will be refunded. Refunds will be issued within 2 weeks.
  • For cancellations within 20 days of a course start date, no refunds will be given. If you cancel prior to course login/materials are sent, you may receive a credit for any future online course (valid for one year). If you cancel after course login/materials are sent, you may receive a credit for the same course at a future date (valid for one year).
  • Refunds are not issued for missed sessions.

Lakewood Media Group reserves the right to cancel courses which do not meet minimum registration requirements. Should that occur, you will receive your choice of a full refund or a letter of credit to be used for another Training magazine online course or in-person event.  


Certificate of Completion and eBadge by Credly

You have the opportunity to earn a digital Certificate of Completion and an eBadge. To earn both, you must log in for and participate in each live course using the login email and password provided and successfully complete any homework assignments by specified deadlines. Certificates of Completion and eBadges are issued to the email address you used when registering and available for download via the Credly platform approximately two weeks after your course ends. If you do not receive your Certificate and eBadge within 21 days of your course end date, please see these instructions. If you still have questions, let us know. 


Course Equipment

Please review your detailed course description carefully. You'll participate in online and collaborative activities in a number of ways, each designed to provide a unique means to interact and learn from experts and colleagues. All course delivery software operates at Internet connection speeds of 56.6 kbps or better, on PC, Mac and Unix platforms. Courses will use teleconferencing or VoIP (voice over Internet Protocal.) The login instructions emailed to you approximately one week prior to the start of the course will outline platform use as well as any headset requirements or suggestions. Each registrant must provide their own laptop or desktop computer in order to fully participate in the course as mobile applications such as Zoom and Adobe Connect have limited feature functionality that may prohibit you from fully experiencing class activities. Please test your login information a minimum of 48 hours in advance on your course start date on the computer you will be using for the course.


Course Materials

Your login instructions for the course(s) and any applicable pre-work/homework will be sent to the email address you provided approximately one week prior to the start of the course. If you have not received your information by that time, please check your junk mail folder before contacting us.


Course Rates

Your course rate (registration fee) covers ONE attendee. Group discounts are available for groups of 3 or more from the same company/organization, please visit Fees & Discounts for information. CPT Recertification

Training Magazine Events are pre-approved by the International Society of Performance Improvement (ISPI). You can earn up to 12 CPT points to re-certify as a Certified Performance Technologist (CPT) with any Training magazine Conference or Certificate course. You'll find full information at CPT certification.


CPTD and APTD Recertification and Initial Eligibility

Training Magazine Certificates have been pre-approved by the ATD Certification Institute to offer educational programs that can be used towards initial eligibility and recertification of the Certified Professional in Talent Development (CPTD) and Associate Professional in Talent Development (APTD) credentials. To view the number of points per course, go to Certificate Courses and click on the course of your choice. Total maximum points are shown under the ‘Instructor’ information for each course. Discounts

Register 30+ days prior to the course start date and you'll automatically receive $150 off the regular registration rate via our Early Bird Rate. (No discount code required.)

One discount code per person. The discount code must be entered and applied on the Registration 'Review' page, PRIOR to completing your registration. We do not give refunds for discount codes after final payment has been made. Group Discounts

Group discounts are available starting at Groups of 3 or more from the same company/organization. Learn more about available discounts.  Groups may register online. You will be prompted "To add additional attendee" on the Review page. The discount code must be entered and applied on the Registration 'Review' page, PRIOR to completing your registration. We do not give refunds for discount codes after final payment has been made. If you don’t see the discount showing, click the ‘Back’ button OR continue as a ‘Balance Due’ payment option and contact Customer Service.


International Attendance

Our speakers and support staff are all based in the United States, so our online certificate programs are geared towards U.S. time zones. To view course times, technical requirements, prerequisites, etc., visit the Training Live + Online certificate list page, click on the topic of your choice, and scroll down to the ‘Course Dates’ area. Note we require registrants to log into each live course session, actively participate, and successfully complete any applicable homework by the deadline given in order to receive a Certificate of Completion and eBadge. Invoices

Upon completing your registration, an invoice will be automatically sent by e-mail with the confirmation. Payment in full is due at least 10 business days prior to the course start date. If you need another copy of your invoice, please contact Customer Service. A purchase order is not considered final payment.


Login Questions

Login details and any pre-work are typically emailed (to the email address you used when registering) approximately one week prior to the start of the course date. If you did not receive your login information by that time, please check your junk mail folder before contacting us. Your registration fee and corresponding login information covers one (1) participant and must be paid in full prior to receiving login information. A purchase order is not considered payment in full.

Missed Certificate Sessions

To earn your Certificate of Completion and eBadge, you must log in for and participate in each live course using the login email and password provided and successfully complete any homework assignments by specified deadlines. Failure to do so will result in forfeiture of your Certificate of Completion and eBadge and no refund will be issued. (Archives of sessions are intended for review purposes only and will be accessible for approximately six (6) months after the course ends.) If you will miss a session due to an emergency please contact us ASAP.


Payment Methods/Payment Details

Payment in full for courses must be received a minimum of 10 business days prior to the course start date. If payment in full has not been received by that time, your registration will be cancelled. A purchase order is not considered final payment. Your registration fee covers ONE attendee. Credit Cards: To make payment by credit card enter your card information when registering online OR select the 'Balance Due' option when registering, then call us with your credit card info at 1.847.620.4486 Monday-Friday (9 am to 6 pm Eastern). We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover cards. NOTE: Credit card charges will show as 'Lakewood Media Group, LLC.'

Checks and Purchase Orders: A purchase order is not considered final payment. If we have not received your payment in full at least 10 business days prior to the course start date, you will be contacted for payment via credit card.

Please make checks payable to 'Lakewood Media Group' and place each attendee's name on the remittance portion of your payment. (NOTE: Lakewood Media Group, LLC is the owner of Training magazine and Conferences; Netronix Corp/eShow is a 3rd party vendor handling the registration on behalf of Lakewood Media Group)

Purchase Orders

We accept purchase orders, but final payment by check or credit card is required at least 10 business days to the start of the certificate course. Purchase orders stating payment will be made after the course ends will NOT be accepted. If we have not received payment in full for your course by that time, you will be contacted for payment via credit card.


Recordings of Sessions

All courses are recorded and saved online for access by paid registrants approximately 24 hours after they run live. Archives of sessions are intended for review purposes only and will be accessible for approximately six (6) months after the course ends. To earn your Certificate of Completion and eBadge, you must log in for and participate in each live course using the login email and password provided and successfully complete any homework assignments by specified deadlines. Failure to do so may result in forfeiture of your Certificate of Completion and eBadge and no refund will be issued. If you will miss a session due to an emergency please contact us ASAP.

Substitution Policies

Substitution requests must be sent in writing to Customer Service at least 10 business days prior to the course start date.

Wire Transfer

Wire transfers are accepted for international payments only. For information to pay by Wire Transfer (EFT) please contact Customer Service after registering. 


W-9 Form (Tax ID)

For a W9 please contact Customer Service after registering with 'W9 Request' in the subject line. Lakewood Media Group is a small veteran-owned business.
