Certificate Overview

Certificate Overview

This award-winning program is ideal for traditional instructors responsible for transferring skills and knowledge via a systematic learning process in a classroom-based, face-to-face environment. This dynamic certificate puts the focus on you as you develop your classroom facilitation skills by delivering a lesson based on content from your own environment. Michael will model instructor competencies while you enjoy the program from the learner’s and instructor’s perspective. You’ll explore the integration of the principles of adult learning into delivery; application of the Systematic Learning Process and motivational strategies during training; a variety of presentation methods; use of instructional media to clarify content and maximize retention; application activities such as testing to confirm the achievement of lesson objectives; four stages of learning; managing difficult situations; organization and sequencing of content to maximize learning; and more.

The last session of this course is a live “Practical Lesson Teach Back" session of 7-10 minutes in length for each participant followed by five minutes of feedback from your peers and Michael, which allows you to fine tune your delivery skills for continued self-development as an instructor.
