Certificate Overview

Certificate Overview

This interactive certificate is dedicated to leverage the power of gamification and game-based learning to help you achieve your business objectives. BOTH have been popular for the last decade and will remain in trend in the future and BOTH are effective to motivate players AND are accessible in terms of cost and implementation. Many confuse these two terms to mean the same thing. BUT there are essential differences between gamification and game-based learning that will help you make the best choice for your eLearning and other adult learning programs. This certificate is designed to bring out the best of you and your team. We provide a fully loaded experience where you will learn through interaction.

You'll work on your own eLearning, ILT, vILT, or hybrid project and actively participate in crafting new ideas and explore the possibilities of how to apply game-like thinking to increase learner engagement, comprehension, retention, and sustain motivation.

By the end of this certificate, you will draft business goals and learning objectives, design learner personas, create prototypes, playtest, assess best practices, and demonstrate applied competence in the application of game-based learning and gamification design to real-life talent development programs. You will also receive unique and valuable job aids and see multiple examples so that you can hit the ground running at the end of the program.

In this certificate, you will learn how to gamify their training, step-by-step. Zoom will be used as the course platform but no additional coding or software is required.

Bonus Items:

You will receive Gamification and Game-Based Learning Design documents, a Pirate Tales Treasure Map, and a Deliberate Fun Game Design Card Deck.
