Certificate Overview

Certificate Overview

Have you ever found yourself confidently delivering content for a virtual training session, or webinar only to have a participant just drop off? Or have you bravely launched breakout sessions but found that participants got lost regarding where to go? These scenarios illustrate the convergence of virtual training delivery and production. While attention is most often paid to the facilitation of virtual sessions, significantly less is devoted to producing them. Paying attention to the production of virtual training addresses this gap and this course teaches you exactly what you need to pay attention to in order to be a skilled virtual trainer, ready to accurately support your live online training strategies with skill.

This course helps you to identify, develop, and practice the necessary skills to become an effective live online training producer. It also provides an immersive skill building experience of engaging online training with examples, practice and coaching. This course is designed to empower trainers, training coordinators, and support staff to effectively produce virtual instructor-led training experiences with confidence!

See 'Technical Needs/Prerequisites' below.

Bonus Items:

  • Receive a participant manual containing the job aid every producer needs: a features checklist including troubleshooting guidelines for each one.
  • Receive examples and platform checklists to help navigate the various live online platforms in the market today (WebEx, Zoom, Teams, Adobe Connect, etc.); and key points to remember for you to use as you support virtual earning experiences for your live online attendees.
  • Receive a detailed Producer's Assessment form to be used should you choose to do the final independent application project on your own.
