This intensive two-week certificate program will provide you with the fundamental knowledge you need to:

• Communicate results effectively.
• Forecast the ROI prior to and during program implementation.

During a two-week period, you will enhance your knowledge of ROI using a variety of tools and actual case applications. During this online certificate program you will:

• Complete a pre-work package that includes an overview of the ROI Methodology and an assessment of your readiness to pursue ROI.
• Participate in five two-hour live webcasts using Elluminate.
• Complete a multiple-part case study using the discussion board to engage in dialogue with fellow participants.
• Download handouts, tools, and templates that will assist you in the learning process and applying the ROI Methodology after the program has ended.

Upon completion of the certificate program, you will be able to:

• Define the five levels of evaluation.
• List the six types of data generated through the ROI Methodology.
• Describe the ten steps in the ROI evaluation process model.
• Explain the purpose of the 12 Guiding Principles.
• Calculate the benefit-cost ratio and ROI
• Select programs suitable for ROI evaluation.
• Forecast the ROI for a program prior to and during program implementation.
   

This certificate program includes a pre-work assignment, live webcasts, discussion board, and support materials.

Each of the five (5) webcasts will last approximately two hours. Each webcast will launch a new module -- handouts for each module will be available prior to the webcast.
 

Participants will download and complete their pre-work assignment one week prior to the first Webcast. The pre-work includes a brief article describing the ROI Methodology as well as a brief survey assessing your readiness for ROI.

Interim homework assignments will include the completion of a multiple-part case study. You will work as a team using the discussion board to complete your homework assignments. Over the two-week period, you should plan for approximately four additional hours for homework and discussion.
 

• You will download handouts, tools, and templates.
• You will receive a fold-out process model to use as a job aid.
• You will have the opportunity to engage in continuous online discussion for up to six months following the course.
