Clinic Overview:

In this exciting, hands-on, clinic, you'll discover six "cognitive neuroscience” principles which show how humans really learn, as opposed to traditional, outdated assumptions about learning. Experience these six brain science principles as you learn how to apply them to your own training topics and content. Expand your knowledge of the physiology and psychology of the brain as it moves knowledge into long-term memory. Get the most up-to-date brain science research and valuable resources to add to your own understanding of human learning. You'll create your own trainer’s toolbag full of brain-based activities that apply the six principles and complete a clinic project using your toolbag strategies.

Learning Outcomes:
After participating in this fast-paced, interactive clinic, you will be able to:

  1. Explain the brain science research that forms the foundation of the six principles, and why these principles are important to effective training.
  2. Apply the six principles every time you train, regardless of the complexity of the topic, size of group, or level of learners.
  3. Choose from a collection of new brain science resources to enhance your
instruction, both in the classroom and online.
  4. Use your personal trainer’s tool bag, based on the six principles, with every training project and program you create and deliver.
