Certificate Overview

Game-Based Learning is more than badges, points, leaderboards and trophies. This hands-on interactive certificate will walk you through the best practices for preparing and managing the development of a serious game for training. Experience first-hand how to determine the roles and mechanics that motivate gamers within any type of game-based experience. You’ll learn how to identify opportunities for using games in learning experiences, and how to properly plan, manage, and track outcomes of serious game efforts for your organization. You’ll also explore how to use game mechanics to motivate learners to acquire knowledge and skill, rather than merely receive and memorize information and how learners pull the data out of their experience and enjoy the time spent taking the learning module.
